Summer Glau

 Glau's debut television role was as a guest ballerina in a 2002 episode of the show Angel. Director Joss Whedon spotted her and subsequently cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. She also played in the role for the sequel Serenity. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the part of the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau was in the episode "Love Conquers Al" from the TV series Cold Case. The actress had a small role in the movie Sleepover in which she played the high school senior Shelly. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " in season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in season two's premiere of The 4400, and became the main character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was her role in the horror comedy. Glau played the role of The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV film. Glau played Cameron Phillips an infiltration unit of the Terminator returned to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" included scenes in which Glau (as Cameron) dances ballet. Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron’s human doppelganger in episodes of the second season, "Allison of Palmdale" and “Born to Run". Glau was also a guest on the episode The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS comedy that focuses on situations.
